I put this in my :+fav:s a while ago and was just looking at it again. Brilliant!

I agree with many of the comments that this just oozes atmosphere and the B&W treatment really gives it the look of a "timeless classic". The dynamic sense of movement given by the silhouette also lifts it above many similar photos.
